And yeah, I failed to realize that what I picked up was a yaoi manga.īut aside from that sexy scene, that’s not what you will remember from this book. Now I get what’s the meaning of “XXX” in the title. That sexy scene totally caught me off guard. Well, you probably already know what happened next. I was enjoying how cute this story between two boys who shared their love for rabbits then “boom”, things began escalating quickly. But will Shouhei have the courage to tell Mito his true feelings? How will Mito react to it?ĭefinitely not a manga that I was expecting to read during the holy week. But with some twist of fate, the true cause of Shouhei’s allergy was revealed. How will their budding relationship grow. But because of her allergies to rabbits, wherein he can’t stand being around rabbits for an hour, he has to always find excuses to leave early. Shouhei adores Mito and he really wants to work at Mito’s rabbit specialty shop. The love story of the characters, Shouhei and Mito, was built on a very funny plot. This book is overflowing with cuteness and fluffiness. Would he be able to keep that secret in order to stay close to the one he loves?
However, he has a secret he has to keep no matter what. And there, he meets Mito Itsuki, his unrequited love. Because of his love for rabbits, he sometimes helps out in a rabbit specialist shop.

I think honorifics are very important to retain in every translation of Japanese text because they keep the polite culture apparent and rich in the story, making the book feel more authentic and true to its origin.

Halfway through reading the copy I bought, I was starting to feel bothered that that the younger siblings were calling their older brothers by their first names. The characters are all very lovable, and I would love to explore their romance more outside the areas of business and family. Plus, this smutty manga is generously uncensored! The illustrations are so gorgeous, one of the best I've seen in the yaoi genre. The plot has enough depth for a light read, and the setting is interesting with a sprinkling of bunny facts. I'm giving this a star less because Sublime's English Secret XXX is a very adorable and hot yaoi manga set in a rabbit-specializing shop. Plus, this smutty manga is generously uncensored!
